SAG Awards 2010 Fashion Look

The 16^th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was held in Beverly Hills on January 23, 2010. After a soggy and rainy Golden Globes, The SAG took precaution and put up a tent. So much for precaution, because there was no rain in sight! The evening was beautiful and star studded with all the big stars and filmmakers rubbing shoulders.

This year at the Sag Awards it was all about solid, bold, and bright colors. The glam celebs strutted down the red carpet in every color from white, mustard yellow, to navy blue. It was also about jewelry and in the oddest places, like placed on gowns, as hair accessories, and on backs.

Best dressed celebs included Kate Hudson in a stunning backless Emillo Pucci, Dian Kruger in Jason Wu, and Jane Krakowski in Alberta Ferretti, just to name a few.

Oonagh by Nanette Lepore

A trend is really taking place in the fashion world. Designers are starting to make a more affordable line contrary to their higher-priced line. Nanette Lepore has decided to take part in this trend. I mean....it is a recession!

Nanette Lepore is a high-end, American apparel collection established in 1992, by Ohio native, Nanette Lepore. The line consists of bold colors and bright prints, with ruffles and lace that are done tastefully. The style of the line is a little eccentric, but tailored, and very feminine. Other product lines include: fragrances, handbags, lingerie, jewelry and shoes.

Celebrity clientele includes: Eva Longoria, America Ferrera and Kerry Washington.

Nanette Lepore is now launching a more affordable line, Oonagh by Nanette Lepore. Oonagh means "pure" in Scottish. The new line is diffusion line of different styles of clothing that are nicely meshed together. Check out the pictures below!

The Gals think this is a great move for Nanette Lepore. She will definitely get a whole new clientel because of it. You can find both collections of by Nanette Lepore's in: Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman (just to name a few).

2010 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Look

This year the 67^th annual Golden Globe Awards were held in Beverly Hills on January 17, 2010. Thanks to the rain, the must have accessory this year on the red carpet was an umbrella. The rain didn’t stop the festivities, as the glam celebrities strutted down the red carpet sporting umbrellas and updo’s.

The fashion at the golden globes was very fresh this year, Some of the outfits were over the top glamorous while others decided to keep it simple.

Project runway star, Christian Siriano, designed for the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes. Siriano had a big break when "Mad Men's" Christina Hendricks stepped out in a peach organza strapless gown adapted from his Spring 2010 collection.
